Mindfulness & Calm
are part of learning!
Besides being a teacher, I designed and taught a mindfulness class for high schoolers, which included a yoga portion.
I am also a certified sound bath practitioner.

Whether you're studying for the ACT or struggling with reading and writing in general, I am here to make those things easier!

Grammar and sentence structure can be very stressful ~ but fear not!
I really enjoy these topics! And even if I can't get you to enjoy grammar itself, I can break it down into ideas you can grasp and use!
I know that not understanding something can be frustrating, but I've had 11 wonderful years of experience with hundreds of other students, at all levels, who also didn't understand everything! So, I got you :)

I 100% believe you can achieve your dreams, no matter what your skills or passions are. I'm here to help with the reading and writing part!

ACT: English Section
The ACT is an odd, slightly tricky test. And sometimes, grammar terminology is complicated! A person can be really good at reading and writing, and still be confused about how to answer a question on the ACT.

I was a student who excelled in reading and writing, and I still wasn’t always prepared to unravel the type of questions the ACT was asking.

Fortunately, as a teacher, I've learned the ins and outs of the ACT.
I have simplified the complex ideas that it's testing
into understandable concepts that students can work with.

I look forward to working with you on succeeding on the English portion of the ACT!
